The Idemili South Mayor, Hon Amaka Obi, has commended the Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, for breaking the 22-year jinx that prevented APGA from having a senator in Anambra.
An elated Mayor Amaka Obi described the record-breaking victory as unprecedented, demonstrating that Governor Soludo’s administration is doing tremendously well and living up to the expectations of the people of Anambra.
According to Mayor Amaka Obi, the landslide victory of APGA’s senatorial candidate, Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu, with over 75% of votes cast in his favour, winning 99.99% of polling units and all 118 wards across 7 LGAs in the senatorial zone, is a testament to Governor Soludo’s leadership. She stated that APGA, now having a senator in the Red Chamber, was made possible under Governor Soludo’s administration.
Mayor Amaka Obi also lauded Governor Soludo, who is the National Leader of APGA, for his leadership and contributions to the party’s success. She further commended the National Chairman and all the State Excos for their roles in the senatorial by-election victory.
“APGA, now having a senator in the Red Chamber, was made possible under Governor Soludo’s administration, and this victory is a testament to his leadership and the trust the people of Anambra have placed in him,” Mayor Amaka Obi said, reiterating her commendation for the Governor and the party’s leadership.
