Isese Day: Ikeja LG Boss, Comrade Dauda Felicitates With Custodians Of Culture And Tradition

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has extended his warmest greetings to the traditional rulers and the good people of Ikeja on the occasion of this year’s Isese Day celebration.

 

In a statement to commemorate the Isese Day, the Council Chairman noted that Isese remains a vital reminder of the cultural and spiritual heritage of the Yoruba people. He stressed that the day is not only a celebration of tradition but also a call to unity, peace, and mutual respect among all religions and cultures in Nigeria.

 

Comrade Dauda reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to promoting inclusivity, tolerance, and cultural preservation, while also ensuring that every group in Ikeja has a sense of belonging.

 

He wished all sons and daughters of the Isese tradition a joyous and peaceful celebration, praying that the wisdom of the ancestors continues to guide Ikeja, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large toward greater prosperity.
