Alaales Of Ikeja Pay Appreciation Visit To Council Chairman, Comrade Dauda

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), today received in audience the Alaales of Ikeja, who paid him a special appreciation visit following the successful celebration of this year’s Isese Day festival.

 

The Alaales commended the Chairman for his unprecedented support, noting that it made the celebration the most remarkable Isese Day ever witnessed in Ikeja. They also offered heartfelt prayers for the Chairman, his administration, and the entire Ikeja community.

In his response, the Ikeja Chairman, Comrade AKOD expressed gratitude for the recognition and assured the traditional leaders of his continued commitment to preserving and promoting Ikeja’s rich cultural heritage. He emphasized that under his leadership, the council would always support initiatives that uphold traditions and values, further promising to make next year’s Isese Day celebration even more memorable.

Also present at the meeting was the Vice Chairman of Ikeja LG, Hon. Abisola Omisore (Omituntun).
