Smirnoff Ice Deepens Commitment To Culture With Vibrant Presence At Bolé Festival 2025

Posted on September 15, 2025

Port Harcourt came alive on September 6–7 as Smirnoff Ice led the celebration at the 2025 Bolé Festival, pairing icy-cold refreshment with the city’s bold flavours and vibrant cultural spirit.
The festival, a beloved showcase of roasted plantains, grilled fish, music, dance, and local traditions, provided the perfect stage for Smirnoff to connect people through both flavour, cuisine and culture.
The Smirnoff activation stand was a cultural hotspot. Its colourful, inviting design reflected the energy, creativity, and inclusivity of Nigerian youth, while lounge areas offered a place to relax, connect, and capture moments of heritage in motion. Guests enjoyed complimentary drinks — from the famous Smirnoff Ice to ready-to-serve cocktails — perfectly complementing the smoky, spicy flavours of bole and grilled fish. Every sip, beat, and bite became part of a shared celebration of Nigerian tradition and modern self-expression.
Speaking at the festival, Oluwanponmile Alabi, Category Lead, Ready to Serve, Guinness Nigeria, said, “Bolé Festival is a celebration of community, creativity, and culture. Smirnoff thrives in these spaces because it brings people together, blends tradition with modern energy, and creates experiences that honour our heritage while making unforgettable memories.”
From energetic drumming and dance performances to laughter, selfies, and spontaneous games, Smirnoff Ice amplified the cultural heartbeat of the festival, creating a space where people could celebrate their roots while enjoying bold, refreshing flavours. Smirnoff didn’t just sponsor the Bolé Festival, it became part of the story, bridging heritage, connection, and fun in a way only the brand can.
