Ikeja Council Boss, Comrade Dauda Holds October Edition Of Monthly Prayer Meeting

Yesterday, 6th October, 2025, the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), held the October edition of the monthly prayer session with the Ikeja League of Imams at his Ikeja House office.
Present at the prayer meeting were all the Chief Imams of Central Mosques across Ikeja, who offered heartfelt and sincere prayers to Almighty Allah on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Senator (Dr.) Idiat Oluranti Adebule, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu, Hon. Seyi Lawal, the Chairman and Vice Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, all six Councillors, and the entire residents of Ikeja.
The prayers centered on peace, progress, security, and unity across Ikeja, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large. The Imams prayed that Almighty Allah would continue to guide the leaders aright, protect the followers, and shower His abundant blessings upon the land.
This prayer session is a monthly spiritual exercise initiated by the Council Chairman since his assumption of office.
In the same spirit of inclusivity, the Christian leaders will also be gathering every first Thursday of the month to offer their prayers to God, as the Chairman strongly believes that no man in power can succeed except by divine help, and he remains deeply committed to seeking God’s guidance for effective leadership.
