The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has officially renewed the Hajj operating license of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board for the 2026 Hajj exercise.

The announcement was made on Tuesday by the NAHCON Zonal Coordinator for Kwara, Ondo, and Ekiti States, Alhaji Lawal Kaseem Yinka, during a courtesy visit to the Board’s headquarters in Ilorin.

Alhaji Yinka stated that the renewal was granted after a thorough review confirmed the Board’s full compliance with all operational requirements and its state of readiness.

“We are thoroughly satisfied with the working tools, facilities, and administrative structure the Kwara State Board has in place,” said Alhaji Yinka. “This renewal is a green light for all intending pilgrims from Kwara State, including non-indigenes resident here, to confidently begin their preparations for the 2026 spiritual journey.”

The Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir, received the NAHCON delegation. He was represented by the Chief Admin Officer, Hajia Ramat Alaaya, alongside other senior management staff.

Following the meeting, the delegation was conducted on an extensive facility tour. The team inspected key departments, including the Data Processing Unit, Accounts Department, Conference Hall, Administrative Offices, Procurement Unit, Press Unit, and the Planning Department, further underscoring the Board’s operational capacity.
