The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), on Sunday, 26th October, 2025, attended the 51st Adult Harvest and Thanksgiving Service of Ikeja 1 Cathedral (Regional Headquarters), themed “Harvest of Divine Provision,” drawn from Philippians 4:19.

The colourful and spirit-filled service, held at the Church Auditorium, 25 Unity Road, off Toyin Street, Ikeja, was a moment of deep gratitude, praise, and thanksgiving to God for His abundant blessings upon the church, the community, and the entire Ikeja family.

The Ikeja Council Chairman, Comrade Dauda, who joined other worshippers in thanksgiving, appreciated God for His continuous provision and guidance over Ikeja Local Government. He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the service of the people, emphasizing that his administration would continue to prioritize initiatives that improve the welfare and well-being of all residents.

He further noted that divine provision is not only spiritual but also reflects in good governance, community development, and collective progress, all of which form the core of his I.K.E.J.A. Agenda.

The event witnessed songs of praise, thanksgiving offerings, and prayers for Ikeja, Lagos State, and Nigeria as a whole.
