Ikeja Council Boss, Comrade Dauda Visits Lagos State Commissioner Of Police

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh Moshood, at the State Police Command Headquarters.

During the visit, the Ikeja Chairman, Comrade Dauda, commended the Commissioner of Police for the tremendous work being done to maintain peace, order, and security across Ikeja and Lagos State at large.

He reiterated his administration’s readiness to continually cooperate with the Nigeria Police Force in ensuring a safer and more secure community, emphasizing that the Council is ever willing to render any assistance when needed.

In response, CP Olohundare Jimoh Moshood lauded Comrade Dauda for his unwavering cooperation and support since assuming office as Chairman of Ikeja Local Government.

He equally commended him for his outstanding performance and developmental strides within the Local Government Area, presenting him with an Award of Excellence in recognition of his commitment to community safety and grassroots development.

Also in attendance during the visit were the Vice Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Hon. Abisola Omisore; the Council Manager, Mrs. Juliana Odubeko; the six Councillors led by the Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Rasheed Adisa Ogunseye; and other top management staff of the Council.

The meeting ended on a cordial note, with both leaders reaffirming their shared commitment to effective collaboration for the peace and progress of Ikeja and Lagos State.
