Ojodu Mayor’s Wife, Abimbola Odunmbaku Leads Delegation To 25th COWLSO National Women’s Conference

The wife of the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Mrs. Abimbola Odunmbaku, led a distinguished delegation of women from the council to the 25th Annual National Women’s Conference organized by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Themed “25 Years of Visionary Legacy: Inspiring the Next Generation,” the conference celebrated 25 years of COWLSO’s visionary leadership, compassion, and transformative impact in advancing the welfare and empowerment of women across Lagos State and Nigeria.

During the event, Mrs. Odunmbaku underscored the importance of sustained investments in policies and programs that empower young women to become leaders and change agents in their communities. She reaffirmed Ojodu LCDA’s ongoing commitment to inclusive governance and the active participation of women in leadership and development initiatives.
Mrs. Odunmbaku was accompanied by female councillors, wives of political office holders, and notable women leaders from the LCDA, demonstrating Ojodu’s strong representation and alignment with COWLSO’s mission to build a more equitable and progressive society.
