The leadership of the Federated Union of Orashi Students (FUOS) has paid a courtesy and familiarization visit to Ambassador (Comrade) Emeni Ibe, the President General of the Orashi National Congress (ONC), at Ahoada.
The visit, according to the student leaders, was aimed at strengthening the bond between the Orashi student community and key stakeholders in the region. They emphasized the need for collaboration and mentorship to foster unity, development, and educational advancement across the Orashi axis.
In his remarks, Amb. Emeni Ibe warmly welcomed the student representatives and commended them for their initiative, describing the visit as a “sign of responsibility and visionary leadership”. He encouraged the students to continue engaging constructively with the Congress and other regional bodies to promote the collective progress of the Orashi people.
Amb. Ibe, who is also an advocate and public policy reformist, assured the students of the ONC’s full support in their academic and developmental pursuits. He urged them to remain focused on their studies, shun cultism and social vices, and become worthy ambassadors of the Orashi nation.
“Education remains the most powerful tool for liberation and development. Stay focused, avoid distractions, and let your time in school prepare you to contribute meaningfully to our region,” he advised.
The student leaders expressed appreciation to Amb. Ibe for his hospitality and his commitment to youth empowerment and regional development. They pledged to align their activities with the vision and mission of the Orashi National Congress for the overall progress of the region.
The visit ended on a note of solidarity and renewed commitment to fostering a strong partnership between the Orashi student community and the leadership of the Orashi National Congress.
