APGA Congratulates Gov Charles Chukwuma Soludo On Historic Re-Election Victory.

Posted on November 9, 2025

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has heartily congratulated His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, on his resounding and historic victory in the November 8, 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election.

In a congratulatory message signed by Mazi Ejimofor Opara PhD, National Publicity Secretary, the party said, “With 73% of the total votes cast and victories in 98% of the 326 electoral wards across the state, Ndi Anambra have once again delivered a clear, unequivocal, and overwhelming mandate—affirming their trust in Governor Soludo’s visionary leadership, bold reforms, and unwavering commitment to building a liveable and prosperous homeland. This landslide triumph is not merely an electoral outcome; it is a referendum on performance, a celebration of progressive governance, and a reaffirmation of APGA as the true political identity of Ndi Igbo and the custodian of Anambra’s development aspirations”.

“APGA extends profound appreciation to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for ensuring an atmosphere of peace, fairness, and national responsibility throughout the electoral process. We commend the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a transparent and credible election that reflects the will of the people.”

“We equally recognize the professionalism and vigilance of the security agencies, whose presence and conduct guaranteed a peaceful and orderly exercise across the state. Sadly, we mourn the death of one of our member, Mr. Francis Onyeka Ibe, the Councillor of Owerre-ezukala and leader of the Orumba South Council who was shot dead by criminal gun men yesterday shortly after casting his vote. We pray for the peaceful repose of his soul and call for the speedy arrest and prosecution of his killers.”

“Most importantly, we thank the good people of Anambra State—the voters whose courage, patience, and patriotic participation ensured that democracy triumphed. You are the true winners of this election.”

“In the true APGA spirit of onye aghana nwanne ya, we urge all candidates and political parties who participated in the election to accept Governor Soludo’s olive branch and join hands with him to consolidate peace, accelerate development, and strengthen the foundations of good governance.”

“Elections are moments of contest; nation-building is a continuous collective duty. The task ahead requires unity, maturity, and shared purpose.”

“As Governor Soludo embarks on his second term, APGA reiterates its commitment to providing leadership that works for all—building institutions, deepening democracy, expanding economic opportunities, and safeguarding the future of every Anambra son and daughter. This victory marks a new chapter. Together, we shall build an Anambra that is liveable, prosperous, globally competitive, and exemplary in governance.”

“Congratulations, Mr. Governor.
Congratulations, Ndi Anambra.
Long live APGA. Long live Anambra State. Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!”
