Brydge Wins Startup Pitch Tournament As French Week And 40th Anniversary Celebration Hots Up In Lagos

After careful presentation of their innovative solution, problem solving power, market demand and relatability, Brydge was adjudged the winner of the Pitch Tournament in the French Week 2025 and 40th anniversary of Franco-Nigeria Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).
At the Startup Summit and Pitch Tournament with the theme “From Africa to the World: Technology as a Driver of Cross-Border Trade and Global Value Chains”, organised to celebrate the French Week this year at the Alliance Francaise, Mike Adenuga Centre in Ikoyi, Lagos, Brydge, as the winner, won complimentary access to selected masterclasses offered by Optimus Digital Future, one year of free access to Bujeti, including a dedicated onboarding session.

Other largess won by Brydge are private exchange sessions with Business France, to explore international expansion opportunities, the sum of ₦1,000,000 courtesy of the Franco-Nigeria Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a round-trip flight ticket by Air France.
Other competitors in the Pitch Tournament included Betapawa, Runteller, Scrub and Optimums AI Labs.
The event was attended by young speakers, entrepreneurs executives of the FNCCI and the Consul General of France in Lagos, Laurent Favier.

The Consul General was elated with the entrepreneurial spirit of the Nigerian youth and commended the mutual bilateral relationship between his country, France and Nigeria which the Franco-Nigeria Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been able to nurture in the last 40 years.
Apart from the pitch tournament, the summit also featured a powerful panel session that featured leaders from Flutterwave, JR Farms, BusinessFront, Qwasar Silicon Valley and Partech Africa.
Fiyinfolu Okedare, Director, Technology and Digital Consulting Forvis Mazars delivered the keynote address.
