2025 World Orphans Day: Chadash Foundation Donates Bus, Food & Cash To Orphanages

The Chadash Empowerment Foundation has donated a Toyota Sienna bus, food items and cash gifts to different orphanages as part of the celebration to mark the 2025 World Orphans Day on November 13, 2025.
The celebration of the day that took place today with the theme “Spreading Hope” at the with 3GS Kiddies and Event Center, Lugbe in Abuja brought together hundreds of children, caregivers, partners, and supporters in a heartwarming atmosphere dedicated to honoring orphans and renewing hope for their future.

In her address at the ceremony to hand over the gifts and make merry with orphans, Mrs. Temitope Adeola, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Chadash Empowerment Foundation stated that this is the 4th times that her Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) is organizing the celebration stressing that this year’s theme caries a message that “calls us to pause, reflects and recommit ourselves to the millions of children around the world who have lost the warmth of parent’s embrace, the security of family and too often, the opportunity to dream”.
She stated that spreading hope is a responsibility to be shared by everyone including government, private sector, NGOs, and individuals adding that hope is not merely an emotion but a force that shapes identity, fuels resilience, and transforms the futures of vulnerable children.

The wife of Senator Solomon Adeola, the chairman of Senate Committee on Appropriations, said her NGO remain committed to creating an environment where orphans and vulnerable children are protected, empowered and given tools to survive.
“We have constructed and donated a standard two bedroom apartment to Maranatha Care Initiative and Children Home in Lugbe, sank a borehole to provide clean, and accessible water to orphanage home, raised over N400 million for the ongoing construction of a world class standard orphanage home and a special needs school for JKS Orphanage Home in Kubwa, Abuja. A legacy project that will transform countless of lives for generations” she stated.

This year’s celebration included orphans from 10 orphanage homes namely Purity Rose Care Orphanage Home, Christ Bethel Orphanage Home, Maranatha Orphanage Home, Amazing Tots Orphanage Home, Nado Orphanage Home, Goodluck Orphanage Home, Nwachi Memorial Orphanage Home, Gifted and Talented Orphanage Home, Shining Star Orphanage Home, and Priesthood Orphanage Home.
The Chadash Empowerment Foundation made a historic donation of a brand-new Toyota Sienna to Christ Bethel Orphanage Home to ease their logistic and transportation needs while each of the homes went home with N100,000 financial support and essential supplies including bags of rice, vegetable oil, sugar, tissue paper, and goodie bags for every child present at the event.

With this year’s celebration, Chadash Empowerment Foundation reaffirmed its long-standing commitment to empowering orphans through education, welfare support, skills development, and community-driven initiatives.
