Ahead Lagos FA Cup: Liam’s Height Sports Academy Begin Player’s Recruitments

As part of early preparation ahead of President Federation Cup known as Lagos State Challenge Cup,(Lagos FA Cup) Liam’s Height Sports Academy are ready to fortify the team with the new players.

The Lagos based club which was formed early last year would involve in the President Federation Cup scheduled to commence early next year.

The recruitment exercise would commence on the 15th of December 2025 at the academy training ground camp 2 football field inside ojo Military Barracks, Lagos.

Azenabor Williams who is the Chief Executive Officer and Head Coach of the academy said the recruitments is necessary to bring more experienced and fresh players to the team.

“The purpose of recruiting new players is to strengthen the team, my boys are very young, disciplined and talented and I need to bring some experienced and fresh players to join the team so that we can have a balance team ahead of the competition,”he said.

Azenabor disclosed that they are coming to the Lagos FA Cup as a first timer noted that his team need to be fortified if they want to go far in the competition.

“The academy itself is young and this is the first time we will be participating in the President Federation Cup in Lagos and I understand the task ahead.I don’t just want to participate in the national or state competition, but rather to establish my academy name in the tournament.

“I see the tournament as a better platform to expose the boys, it will surely build their confidence and give them a clearer picture of how the game of football is,”he concluded.
