Residents Shower Encomium On Agege LG Boss, Obasa Over AFCON Free Viewing Centre

Residents of Agege Local Government have showered encomium on the council boss, Hon. Abdul-Ganiyu Vinod Obasa, for the free Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 free viewing centres.

The council chairman, known for his passion for football, established AFCON free viewing centres for his constituents.

It was a treat for the residents of Agegere as Morocco was brought to their doorstep with live football matches displayed on digital screens.

At each of the venues, the residents troop out in their numbers to support the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

This is the first time in history that such an event has happened in Agege

Residents say this is the first of its kind in Agege.
