The aspiration of Chief Udochukwu Emmanuel Ubah (Otunba Ojoto) for the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Presidency, received a big boost following the declaration and donation of a cow for his victory party by the Ohanaeze Spiritual Director, Prophetess Adaobi Orjiakor a.k.a Nnukwu Eze Nwanyi of Alimosho LGA in Lagos State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Prophetess Adaobi Orjiakor made the donation during the visit of Chief Uba’s campaign team led by Ichie Anselm Njoku, some Ndieze and stakeholders to the Palace of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Ndieze and Ezendigbo in Alimosho, Eze Lawrence Nnamdi Eze.

Some of the Igbo Community organizations included the Chairman of all Chairmen of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State, Nze Edwin Egboka, youth leader of Igbo Speaking Community, Chief Okey Uzuegbunam and some critical stakeholders including the leader of the Market union, Chief C.F.C Obi.

Prophetess Adaobi Orjiakor said she donated the cow for the victory party because when she saw Chief Ubah, her spirit told her that he was the person that will be the next Ohanaeze president in Lagos.

She urged Eze Lawrence and some of the Ndieze present to work hard and ensure that Chief Ubah wins the election. In the same vein, Ichie Anselm Njoku declared that the new president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo has emerged in the person of Chief Emmanuel Uba.

He called all the stakeholders including Ndieze to support Chief Ubah, as one who will stabilize Ohanaeze and restore final peace and development to the great socio-cultural organisation.

Ichie Njoku urged Ndieze and the stakeholders to tell Chief Leonard Okafor (Oba Ojoto) to honour his words on his statement at Calabar Hall during the Unity Party he convened.

He recalled that Oba Ojoto said he will not contest the election and had no intention to do so but recently he declared his intention to contest for the position as President. He stated that Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State needs to move forward and it is time to give the leadership to the young ones and all should support Chief Emmanuel Ubah.

Nze Edwin Egboka told the stakeholders that it is time to restore Ohanaeze Ndigbo to its past glory when it was grassroots affair to the State level. He explained that Chief Ubah is the Chairman of Ohanaeze in Oto Awori LCDA and so are other candidates seeking for elective positions. He stated that when there is grassroots Ohanaeze, there will be peace and harmony and Ndigbo cannot be intimidated in the State. He called on the stakeholders to support Chief Ubah and his team so that peace will return to Ohanaeze Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State.

At that point, the Campaign Director,  Chief Amuzie presented the aspirant, Chief Ubah, which attracted singing and praise from the women’s wing that accompanied him to the Palace.

Chief Ubah thanked Eze Lawrence for hosting  his team, Ndieze and stakeholders for their presence and told them that he is actually seeking for the position not because he is power hungry but for him to restore lasting peace in Ohanaeze.

Ubah noted that he was worried about the crisis in Ohanaeze and he offered to serve so as to bring Ohanaeze back to its past glory.  He posited that if there is peace in Ohanaeze, there will be peace among Ndigbo and the host community and State Government will respect Ndigbo.

He solicited for the support of Ndigbo by voting him in so that peace wil return in Ohaneze  because he will ensure that the Constitution of Ohaneze will be in place and the think home project will be implemented and realized.

The highlight of the visit was the spiritual prayer and Royal blessing from Eze Lawrence Nnamdi Eze, who offered some prayers and declaration to God so that Chief Emmanuel Ubah will win the election.
