Alaafin Of Oyo Crowns Eze Tochukwu Anosike As Ezendigbo Gburugburu In Southwest

The Ezendigbo Gburugburu in Southwest has finally emerged following the crowning and recognition of Ezendigbo of Ojo Central in Lagos State, Eze Tochukwu Anosike, by the Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akeem Owoade.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Eze Anosike, who is also Eze Ohazurume, was conferred with the title of Asiwaju Ndigbo Southewest (Ezendigbo) Gburugburu, by Oba Owoade following his outstanding leadership qualities and compassion for humanity.

The crowning and presentation of certificate was conducted at Oba Owoade’s palace and was attended by top Igbo stakeholders including the BOT Chairman of Ndi Eze in Diaspora,  Eze Uche Dimgba (Okpotemba ), who  represented Ndi Eze and Ichie Anselm Njoku for the entire Ndigbo in Southwest.

By the conferment, Eze Anosike is now the leader of Ndieze in Southwest and other Ndieze are under him and he will be superintending the affairs of Ndigbo in Southwest as the royal father.

Eze Anosike confirmed the development and accepted to lead Ndigbo in the Southwest as Asiwaju Ndigbo in Yoruba land.

He advised Ndigbo to eschew bitterness, rancor and cooperate among themselves for them to have peace so that the host communities will take them seriously and respect their opinions.

He also explained that if there is peace and unity among Ndigbo, the Lagos State Government will recognize and listen to Ndigbo and Ndieze will also be recognized by the Government in Lagos State.

Eze Tochukwu Anosike is the Eze Ndi Igbo Ojo Central and the Eze Ndi Eze in Ojo, which means his leadership covers Iba LCDA, Oto-Awori LCDA and Ojo local government area Lagos State Nigeria.

He is the reason all the Igbos in Ojo Local Government enjoy relative peace in the area. He loves his people and his kingship is highly supported by all the Igbos in the three local government areas.
