We Know Your Story As Suspected Ex-Convict – Dr Nnaji Bombs Chief Aguene

The BOT Chairman of the Igbo Speaking Community,Lagos, Dr Jonathan Nnaji, has challenged the former President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State, Chief Solomon Aguene, to tell the world what happened when he traveled abroad for an Art exhibition and returned after several years as a suspected ex-convict.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Dr Nnaji was reacting over the boasting by Chief Solomon Aguene that he was a successful Art curator, exhibitor and Art gallery owner, who traveled round the globe and exhibited in Toronto, Canada in April,1995.

Nnaji said, “Tell us the business you embarked on abroad that made you to return home empty and your art works were seized”.

Dr Jonathan Nnaji insisted that Chief Solomon Aguene did not finish primary school and that it was why he cannot read or write till today and by implication, he is a compound illiterate.

He explained that while he was President of Ohanaeze, he caused a lot of problems for Ndigbo with his deceit, double standards and betrayed the likes of Onowu, Madam Evelyn, Chief Kalu Uguru, Madam Viola and many others after spending their resources to assist him as president.

Nnaji also blasted Chief Aguene for dishonesty and deceit over the Lagos State Government palliatives, which he diverted and all the money given to Ohanaeze were not accounted for in the past years he was in office as Ohanaeze President.

The worst he was able to achieve was the procurement of the consent judgment, which threw Ndigbo into crisis for many years now.

Dr Nnaji explained that Solomon Aguene destroyed Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos by installing over 15 Ndiezes and many more in the various Local Councils in Lagos State and ridiculed Ndigbo in the State.

Dr Nnaji stated that the BOT of the Igbo Speaking Community has resolved not to have anything to do with Chief Aguene because he is a dubious character and has caused serious crises among Ndigbo in Lagos State.

He asked to know the purpose of the joint meeting called by Chief Aguene and his group other than to deceive Ndigbo and legitimize the illegal Ezes he crowned during his tenure as president of Ohanaeze.

Dr Jonathan Nnaji reiterated that there is only one Council of Ndieze formed and recognized by the BOT under the leadership of Eze Ephraim Nnaemeka and any other meeting called without consent of the authentic Council of Ndieze is null and viod.

Nnaji explained that Ohanaeze has no business to crown Ezendigbo in diaspora and it was the recklessness and irresponsibility of Chief Aguene that caused the confusion and problems among Ndieze and Ohanaeze in Lagos State.

He stated that he actually does not want to join issues with Aguene because of his primitive low mentality and absurdity.

“Do you want me to discuss that I have an old Land Crusier SUV or collected rice palliatives from Solomon and living under high tension cables which are false to dignify him?”
