Highlights Of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Resolution During Expanded Executives Meeting In Lagos

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos chapter led by Chief Linus Igbudu has taken some important decisions towards the restoration of peace and unity among members during their massively attended expanded Executives meeting held in Ojuelegba area of Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports as was disclosed by the General Secretary of the group, Chief Robert Obasi, who affirmed the commitment of the group to restore peace in Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos chapter.
According to the statement, the group condemned the purported consent judgment procured by Chief Solomon Aguene, which they described as the major cause of the crises in the Lagos State  chapter.
Therefore, the group resolved that Chief Solomon Aguene should tender an apology to Ndigbo in Lagos State. Again, he should not be part of the electoral process or involved in conducting election in Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State chapter. Finally, he should not be part of the signatories to the account for the election and should account for the money collected during the previous election.
Chief Obasi further explained that during the meeting, the members upheld the suspension of Chief Sunday Ossai and passed a vote of confidence on their President, Chief Linus Igbudu, through a motion moved by Chief Comos Ukaegbu and seconded by Chief Bernard Njoku.
The house also resolved to work with Chief Linus Igbudu and the State Executives to restore peace and move Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State chapter forward.
Obasi stated that there was good will messages from Ohanaeze Women wing,  Youth wing and Local Government chairmen affirming their confidence on the leadership. He also said that the Executive members condemned the attitude of Chief Leo Okafor(Oba Ojoto) towards Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State.
They alleged that he comes out every election year to disorganize Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State election and vowed not  to support his ambition.
Some of those who attended the meeting apart from the President, included the National Coordinator of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Southwest, Chief Everest Ozonweke, (Onowu) General Secretary, Chief Robert Obasi, Prince Ubochi C Ubochi, Women leader, Chief Mrs. Olaedo, State Executives, Local Government Chairmen, Women leaders,  youth leaders and key stakeholders including elders.
