Ooni’s Delegation Meets Liberia’s Police Chief To Secure Investments & Strengthen Cooperation

The Ooni of Ife’s delegation, led by the Director of Media and Public Affairs at the Ooni’s Palace, Otunba Moses Olafare Olayera, has held a high-level meeting with the Inspector General of Police of the Liberia National Police, Gregory O. W. Coleman, focusing on ensuring adequate security for the Ooni’s proposed investments in Liberia.
The strategic engagement, which took place in Monrovia, was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen relations and create a secure environment for economic collaboration between the Ooni and Liberia.
Speaking during the meeting, Otunba Olafare conveyed the goodwill message of the Arole Oduduwa, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, emphasizing the monarch’s strong interest in investing in Liberia. He noted that security remains a critical factor in the success of any meaningful investment, hence the need for close collaboration with the Liberia National Police.
In his response, IGP Coleman expressed appreciation for the Ooni’s interest in Liberia and assured the delegation of maximum security for all investments linked to the Ooni’s initiatives. He reiterated the commitment of the Liberian government to safeguarding investors and maintaining a stable environment for economic growth.
The police chief further highlighted the country’s improving security architecture, encouraging increased foreign participation and partnerships that will contribute to national development.
Other members of the delegation present at the meeting included Mr. Akeem Adebomojo and Mr. Paul Kennedy, who also contributed to discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation.
