Oke Ero Legacy Group Backs Dr. Bolarinwa (BOB)’s Aspiration To Be Governor Of Kwara State In 2027

A popular political movement in the Oke Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State has thrown its weight behind the ambition of Dr Bashiru Omolaja Bolarinwa to be the next Governor of Kwara State, effective May 29, 2027.

Oke-Ero Legacy Group comprises who’s who in Oke-Ero Local Government.

In a statement signed by the group coordinator, Hon. Toba Adebayo Omotosho (Kuye), the group proudly announces its unequivocal endorsement of Dr Bolarinwa, widely known as BOB, as its preferred candidate for the 2027 gubernatorial elections.

“After careful deliberation and extensive consultation within our communities, our group is convinced that Dr. Omolaja possesses the unique qualities, vision, and experience required to lead our beloved state into an era of unprecedented growth and development.’’

Hon. Omotosho said Dr. Bolarinwa is not merely a participant in the political landscape; “he is a seasoned political veteran who has dedicated a significant portion of his life to public service. His journey through various political roles has equipped him with an intimate understanding of governance, grassroots mobilisation, and the intricate needs of our people. He has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the welfare of our communities, consistently putting collective interests above personal gain.

“Indeed, Dr. Bolarinwa has truly paid his dues, tirelessly serving our party and our state with integrity, distinction, and an unblemished record of dedication.

“His long-standing commitment and comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our state position him as the most competent and capable leader for the task ahead.

“We believe his proven track record of diligent service and his deep-rooted connection with the grassroots will translate into a transformative leadership that is responsive, inclusive, and effective. BOB’s vision, shaped by years of practical engagement and unwavering loyalty, promises a future where development is holistic, opportunities are abundant, and every citizen can thrive.’’

The group posits that, having served faithfully and diligently in various capacities, the time has come to elevate Bolarinwa to the highest office in our state.

“This is not just an endorsement; it is a recognition of merit, a testament to enduring dedication, and a call for our state to benefit from his wealth of experience and visionary leadership. We urge all well-meaning citizens, party faithful, and stakeholders to join us in supporting BOB’s gubernatorial aspiration, as we collectively work towards a brighter, more prosperous future for our state.”

Other signatories to the statement include Abiodun Adeyeye and Olaoye Samuel from Imode/Egosi ward, from Iloffa ward, Abegunde Idowu and Bisi Olaoye.

From Odo Owa 1 ward, Olarenwaju Owolabi and Monisola Adebayo and Odo Owa 2 ward, Emmanuel Adegoke and Alh Jimoh Ajanaku.

Others include Idofin Igbanna1, Saka Fatimoh and Shola Tope.

Idofin Igbanna2, Seyi Abolaji and Kemi Arowolo.

Idofin Odo Ashe ward Sunday Michael and Tunde Afolayan. Ayedun Ward Raphael Adebayo and Tobi Ajayi.

Ekan Ward Wemimo Adeyeye, and Femi Bankole.

And finally, Olamilekan Segun and Deborah Ibitoye from Imoji/Ilale/Eyinmope.
