ONC Endorses Gov Fubara & Prof. Ngozi Odu for 2nd Term Ahead Of 2027 Elections

The leadership, members, and stakeholders of respected Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress (ONC), after a well-attended strategic meeting and consultation session held in Ahoada East Local Government Area, have unanimously endorsed His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, and Her Excellency, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, for a second tenure in office ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Congress stated that the endorsement followed careful evaluation of the administration’s performance, leadership style, commitment to governance, infrastructural development, peace-building efforts, and dedication to the welfare of the people of Rivers State.
Speaking after the meeting, the President General of ONC, Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe (JP AP(), said the Congress remains fully satisfied with the developmental strides recorded under the leadership of Governor Fubara and Deputy Governor Odu, adding that their administration has continued to inspire hope, unity, and progress across the state.
According to him, members and stakeholders of the Congress unanimously resolved to stand firmly with the Governor and his Deputy during the forthcoming party primaries and throughout the 2027 electoral process.
“The Orashi National Congress has carefully reviewed the achievements and leadership qualities of Governor Siminalayi Fubara and Deputy Governor Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, and we are convinced that they deserve the support of Rivers people for continuity and consolidation of good governance,” Amb. Ibe stated.
He further emphasized that the Congress would mobilize massive grassroots support across the Orashi region and beyond to ensure the success of the Governor and his Deputy at the primaries and the general elections.
The ONC leadership also wished the Governor and Deputy Governor success in all political processes ahead, praying for wisdom, strength, and continued grace upon their administration.
The Congress reaffirmed its commitment to peace, unity, democratic participation, and the advancement of Rivers State under purposeful leadership.
