Facts have emerged how the notorious suspected killer and jail breaker, Mr. Kabiru Seudi a.k.a Osama and five of his gang were rearrested after they broke police cell and escaped in Kogi State.

The 31-year old Osama and Nuhu Salihu, 25, had earlier confessed to the police after their arrest that the Senator representing Kogi West, Senator Dino Melaye engaged and armed them to cause terror in the State.

It was not only Melaye that was implicated by the suspects, the son of late Audu was also declared wanted by the police in connection with the confessions and was said to be at large.

All these were going on before the suspects suddenly escaped from the police cell few days before police had planned to take them to court. Their escape caused serious panic within the police circles and the public as there were suspicions that it was an arranged escape by the top ranking officers.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that the
Inspector General of Police, Abubakar Idris was furious when he got the information of the jailbreak and escape of the six suspects, with the two linked to Melaye who the police had already declared wanted.

Weighing the embarrassment to the police, the IGP Idris acted immediately. He first sacked the Kogi State Commissioner of Police, the officer In charge of FSARS, and other top ranking officers in the State connected with the escape and replaced them with other officers.

It was learnt the IGP ordered and dispatched the Police IRT led by the DCP, Abba Kyari to Kogi State with the express order to locate and arrest those suspects within shortest possible time.
It was gathered that Kyari moved in with his men to the State and commenced work. Within three days, there was a clue that led to the arrest of the four suspects that escaped including one of the suspects, Salisu who had confessed his links Melaye over killings in the State.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the few days later one of them was arrested making it five and remaining the dreaded leader, Osama. Police sources said that Kyari and his men had a task to get Osama by all means as directed by the IGP and they worked tirelessly until they succeeded last Sunday.

It was gathered that through hi-tech intelligence, Osama was apprehended at his hideout in Bauchi State and was flown immediately to the Police Headquarters at Abuja where other rearrested suspects were already detained.

Meanwhile, after the jail break and escape of the suspects it was believed that it was an arrangement by the police to allow the suspects to escape to cover their tracks. Senator Melaye did not spare the police either as he had already given them 48 hours to produce the suspects who the police claimed had linked him in terror attacks in Kogi State.
There was even drama on the floor of the Senate as Melaye sang and mocked the Police over the jail break and escape of the suspects, to the extent that the Senate President had to caution him.

However, it appeared that the threat and taunts by Melaye to the Police had slowed down after the rearrest of the suspects, as Melaye may have realised  that with the rearrest of Osama and Salisu he may likely have a date at the court to face criminal allegations against him with them.

Pls let kyari come to his state borno and arrest the sponsors of deadly groups causing havoc to his state. Instead of arresting political thugs that keep breaking cell in kogi state.
