Lagos Head Of Service Leads Prayers For Gov Sanwo-Olu’s 61st Birthday

The Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, on Friday, June 26, 2026, joined the esteemed Body of Permanent Secretaries at the Lagos Secretariat Community Central Mosque, Alausa, Ikeja, for a Special Jumu’ah Service held in honour of the 61st birthday of the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
The solemn gathering brought together senior government officials, public servants, Islamic clerics, and members of the Secretariat community in heartfelt prayers, expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah for the Governor’s life and remarkable leadership while seeking divine guidance for the continued growth and prosperity of Lagos State.

During the service, special supplications were offered for Governor Sanwo-Olu, asking God to bless him with long life, excellent health, greater wisdom, strength, and divine protection as he continues to steer the affairs of Lagos State with dedication, vision, and commitment to sustainable development.
Prayers were also offered for enduring peace, unity, security, and economic prosperity across the state, as well as for continued success in the implementation of the administration’s developmental agenda.
Speaking after the service, the Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, conveyed warm birthday felicitations to Governor Sanwo-Olu on behalf of the Lagos State Public Service. He commended the Governor’s unwavering commitment to good governance, public service reforms, infrastructural development, and the welfare of Lagosians.

Mr. Agoro reaffirmed the readiness of the Lagos State Public Service to continue supporting the Governor’s administration in delivering impactful policies and programmes that will further position Lagos as a leading centre of excellence and a model of good governance in Nigeria and across Africa.
