ONC President General Receives Orashi Students Forum, Endorses Forthcoming National Convention

The President General of notable Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress (ONC), Ambassador Comrade Emeni Ibe, JP, AP, has received representatives of the Federated Union of Orashi Students (FUOS) as part of preparations for the union’s forthcoming National Convention.

During the engagement, Ambassador Ibe reaffirmed the ONC’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote unity, cultural heritage, education, and leadership development among Orashi youths and students.

As a demonstration of this commitment, the ONC formally presented a letter endorsing the students’ forthcoming National Convention, themed “Heritage.” The endorsement, jointly signed by the President General, Amb. Emeni Ibe, and the Secretary General, Pastor Isaac Nwachukwu, pledged the Congress’ moral and institutional support towards the successful hosting of the convention.

Speaking during the meeting, Amb. Ibe commended the leadership of the Federated Union of Orashi Students for promoting the values of unity, identity, and cultural preservation among students from the Orashi region. He encouraged the students to remain focused on academic excellence, responsible leadership, and active participation in community development.

The ONC President General described the convention as a strategic platform for strengthening the bond among Orashi students while preserving the region’s rich cultural heritage and fostering meaningful discussions on education and development.

On behalf of the students, the leadership of the Federated Union of Orashi Students expressed appreciation to the Orashi National Congress for its endorsement and continued support, assuring that the convention would reflect the aspirations of the Orashi people and contribute positively to the development of the region.
