ONC PG Mourns Brother, Mr. Ibe Ukalachi Destiny

The President General of the Orashi National Congress, ONC, and National President of the Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria, Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe, JP, AP, has expressed shock and sadness over the passing of one of his brothers, Mr. Ibe Ukalachi Destiny.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Amb. Ibe said the death came as a rude shock to the entire Orashi nation and the leadership of the ONC.
“Even though we are in pain, on behalf of the leadership and entire members of the Orashi National Congress, I commiserate with the family of our beloved patriarch, HRH Chief Ibe Oha Nathan, over the demise of our amiable brother, Mr. Ibe Ukalachi Destiny,” the statement read.
Amb. Ibe described the deceased as a humble, kind-hearted and amiable brother whose presence brought joy to the family and community.
“We cannot question God. We thank God for your short but eventful life. You touched lives and left footprints that will not be easily forgotten. You will be sorely missed by all,” he said.
The ONC President General noted that the loss is not only to the Ibe family of Orashi but to the entire Niger Delta, given the deceased’s association with a family known for leadership, community service and cultural values.
Amb. Ibe prayed to Almighty God to grant the soul of Mr. Ibe Ukalachi Destiny eternal rest and to give the immediate family, especially HRH Chief Ibe Oha Nathan and other relatives, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He also urged members of the Orashi National Congress and youths across the Niger Delta to rally around the bereaved family in this period of grief, stressing that “in times like this, unity and love are what keep families and communities strong”.
Mr. Ibe Ukalachi Destiny was a son of HRH Chief Ibe Oha Nathan, a respected traditional ruler and patriarch in Orashi land. He was remembered by family and friends as a promising young man with a gentle spirit.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the family in due course.
