It was a moment of encouragement, identification and all-round endorsement for the senatorial candidate of the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, in the forthcoming Anambra South Senatorial election, Hon Greg Amarube, popularly known as Dino.

The Chief Executive Officer of Transsucc Global Nig. Ltd, Mr. Ugochukwu Anulunko, fondly called Ugobest, out of strong belief and support for Umuchu project, presented a large chunk of campaign materials to Hon Amarube.

The presentation has further energised the Dino campaign, with supporters describing it as a clear demonstration of growing confidence in his candidacy across Anambra South.

Hon. Victor Umeh, one of the prominent figures supporting the Dino project for Senate, describing his backing as a major encouragement to youths and stakeholders rallying behind the ZLP candidate.

According to the campaign, the identification of experienced political leaders like Hon. Victor Umeh with Dino’s aspiration is a testament to the credibility and wide acceptance the Umuchu-born candidate enjoys beyond party lines.

Speaking during the presentation, Mr. Anulunko said his gesture was aimed at encouraging Hon Greg Amarube (Dino) and strengthening grassroots mobilisation for the senatorial race.

He clarified, however, that his support for Dino for Senate does not affect his political stand in the House of Representatives race for Aguata Federal Constituency, where he said he remains firmly in support of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, candidate, Dr Chibueze Ofobuike.

According to Ugobest, his position reflects his belief in supporting credible individuals across party lines for the overall development of the area.

“We say a big thank you to Ugobest and so many others who have been supporting this project secretly and many others that will still support. Thanks a million,” the Dino campaign team stated in appreciation.

The team praised Mr. Anulunko for his generosity and for openly identifying with the campaign, noting that the materials would boost ward-to-ward outreach, voter sensitisation and visibility as electioneering intensifies.

They also commended Hon. Victor Umeh for his support, describing it as inspiring and indicative of the broad-based backing Dino enjoys.

Supporters of Hon Amarube say the ZLP candidate represents a fresh, people-centred alternative for Anambra South, with a focus on youth empowerment, community development and effective legislative representation.

They expressed optimism that with the backing of notable figures and grassroots mobilisers, the campaign would continue to gain momentum in the weeks ahead.

The campaign organisation called on other well-meaning sons and daughters of Anambra South, at home and in the diaspora, to emulate Ugobest by supporting the movement in any capacity they can, while also urging peaceful and issue-based politicking as the elections draw nearer.
