Facts have emerged on how police operatives from the Anti-Cultism squad trailed the notorious, wanted and dreaded leader of Aiye cult leader, Mr. Damilare Dare a.k.a Naro and finally arrested him in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the 28-year old Dare had been declared wanted by the police for several years for his alleged violent activities in Oworoshoki and its environs.

The residents believed that Dara was invisible and that was why the police was unable to arrest him for those years. However, the belief has become history following his arrest and parade recently by the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal at the State Command at Ikeja, Lagos.

The police boss said that the reign of Dare popularly called Naro came to an end last week after he was arrested. He said that on 17th April, 2018, the police received credible information that the wanted suspect who had been terrorizing the Oworoshoki community was sighted. He said that based on the information, the officer in charge of Anti-cultism mobilised his officers, went after him and arrested him.
He hinted that Dare was in the custody of the police and was undergoing the necessary interrogations which will lead to the arrest of his other members very soon.

CP Edgal reiterated his commitment to fish out cult gang members and other criminal elements. He warned them that they have no hiding place in the State.
He said that the suspects will be charged to court after the conclusion of investigations.

Meanwhile, other members of the cult group were also arrested across the state and were paraded alongside Dare who was in sober mood over his alleged criminal activities.
