Rite Foods Limited has further strengthened its position as one of Nigeria’s leading innovative and consumer-focused Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies after emerging as Best Foods and Beverage Brand, Nigeria 2026 at the Global Brand Awards.
The award ceremony was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on October 2, 2026.
The Global Brand Awards is organised by the United Kingdom-based Global Brands Magazine. The awards celebrate brands that demonstrate excellence through innovation, quality, market impact and strong consumer connection.
This latest recognition highlights Rite Foods’ sustained commitment to innovation, manufacturing excellence, product quality and consumer satisfaction. It also underscores the strength and growing influence of its brands within Nigeria’s competitive FMCG landscape.
The Global Brand Awards celebrates brands that have shown excellence across areas including innovation, market performance, brand development and consumer engagement. For Rite Foods, the recognition reflects years of strategic investment in product development, world-class manufacturing and initiatives designed to create meaningful value for consumers.
The company’s diverse portfolio continues to deliver products across multiple consumer categories. These include the 13 variants of the Bigi Carbonated Soft Drinks range, Bigi Table Water, Sosa Fruit Drink available in five flavours, Fearless Energy Drink in Classic and Red Berry variants, Rite Spicy Sausage Roll, Bigi Beef Sausage Roll, Bigi Flex Sausage Roll, and the recently launched LIDA Malt. These products are manufactured at Rite Foods’ state-of-the-art, fully automated facility equipped with advanced technology and infrastructure.
The latest honour also builds on the recognition received by Mr. Seleem Adegunwa, who was named Industrialist of the Year 2025 by Vanguard Media Limited for his leadership, entrepreneurial achievements and contributions to Nigeria’s FMCG sector.
Speaking on the recognitions, Adegunwa described them as a validation of Rite Foods’ commitment to building proudly Nigerian brands with the capacity to compete on the global stage.
“These recognitions reflect our firm commitment to innovation, quality and consumer satisfaction. At Rite Foods, we have remained intentional about creating products that connect with consumers while continuously raising the bar in manufacturing excellence, brand experience and market relevance. They are also a testament to the passion and dedication of our people, partners and loyal consumers who continue to believe in the Rite Foods vision,” he said.
He added that the company’s achievements demonstrate the potential of indigenous Nigerian businesses to compete successfully in a dynamic and increasingly competitive marketplace by prioritising excellence, innovation and long-term value creation.
Over the years, Rite Foods has continued to introduce category-defining innovations and bold consumer engagement initiatives. Its flagship Bigi brand has established a strong presence in Nigeria’s carbonated soft drinks market, while Fearless Energy Drink pioneered the introduction of packaged energy drinks in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles in Nigeria, helping to expand convenience and accessibility within the category.
Beyond its product portfolio, Rite Foods continues to demonstrate its commitment to creating positive social and economic impact through youth empowerment initiatives, community development programmes, entertainment partnerships, sports development interventions and other consumer-focused engagements.
As the company continues to expand its footprint and strengthen its portfolio, Rite Foods remains focused on delivering innovative products, elevating consumer experiences and demonstrating the capacity of Nigerian manufacturing and indigenous brands to compete on the global stage.
