Bigi and Fearless Power Soundcity OnTour Live at UNILORIN for 3-Day Music, Talent Hunt

The campus tour, which is fast becoming one of the most anticipated youth entertainment platforms in Nigeria, is bringing together music, student engagement and talent discovery in one experience.

Following its recent successful stop at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), where students turned out in large numbers for music performances and auditions, the Soundcity OnTour train is now heading to Ilorin, Kwara State, for the UNILORIN edition.

Organizers say the UNILORIN stop promises to be bigger, louder and more engaging, with three days of activities lined up for students.

A major highlight of the tour is the Bigi Music auditions, which will give aspiring campus musicians the opportunity to demonstrate their musical abilities and compete for a One Million Naira (N1,000,000) prize at participating universities.

The initiative is designed to offer young talents a platform to gain visibility, build confidence and take a bold step towards pursuing their musical ambitions while still in school.

For Bigi, the partnership with Soundcity goes beyond campus entertainment. According to the brand, it reflects Bigi’s commitment to engaging young Nigerians through experiences that speak to their interests, celebrate their creativity and create real opportunities for emerging talents to be discovered.

Speaking ahead of the UNILORIN stop, Biola Aransiola, Brand Manager, BIGI, said young Nigerians are full of creativity, ambition and talent and deserve platforms where their voices can be heard.

“Young Nigerians are full of creativity, ambition and talent, and we believe they deserve platforms where their voices can be heard. Through Soundcity OnTour, we are bringing music closer to students while giving aspiring artistes an opportunity to showcase what they can do. We want students to participate, express themselves and make the most of an experience that combines entertainment with the possibility of taking their talent to the next level,” Aransiola said.

With Fearless Energy Drink adding its distinctive energy to the experience, the UNILORIN edition promises a blend of music, student engagement and youthful expression, with the spotlight firmly on the talents and personalities shaping campus culture.

Soundcity OnTour has over the years built a reputation for connecting with Nigerian students through music, lifestyle and entertainment, while giving upcoming artistes a chance to perform on a recognized platform. The inclusion of Bigi and Fearless has further elevated the tour, making it a mix of refreshment, energy and entertainment.

For UNILORIN students, the three-day event will also serve as an opportunity to unwind, network and showcase their creativity beyond academics. The university, known for its large student population and vibrant campus culture, is expected to host thousands of students at the venue.

As Soundcity OnTour makes its way to Ilorin, students are encouraged to turn up, be part of the experience and seize the opportunity to showcase their musical abilities and stand a chance to win the N1 million prize.

The organizers have assured that all activities will be conducted in a safe, organized and student-friendly environment.
