Governor Obiano Inspects Ogbunike Cave Road Under Heavy Rain

The Executive Governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano (Akpokuodike Aguleri) on Friday inspected the road leading to the popular Ogbunike Cave tourist centre.

The Governor who was accompanied by the Commissioner for Works, Transport, and the DG of the Projects Monitoring and Management Office, thanked the people of Ogbunike for their continued support for his administration, while unveiling the model for street lights that will terminate right at the popular tourist centre.

Traditional Ruler of Ogbunike community, Chief John Umenyilora (Ezedioramma Na Ogbunike) expressed his appreciation of the Governor’s steadfastness, describing the road project as a dream come true for the people of the community.

The Governor who defied the heavy rain amid cheers from excited dwellers and  Stakeholders, also expressed the readiness to complete the project in order to attract more tourists to the place.
