Buruj Sends SOS Message To Gov Ambode, Individuals & Corporate Organisations
As the players and officials of Buruj Sports Academy are set to depart the shores of the country next week for Manchester, the United Kingdom, for the defence of the English Super Cup title they won last year, the management of the academy is appealing to the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, all well-meaning Nigerians and corporate organisations, to show interest towards the realisation of the sporting potentials of the young but talented players of the academy.
The management team led by the CEO of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, popularly known as Dr. Buruj, is particularly calling on Governor Ambode, to help in the area of tickets purchase taking into cognizance the fact that the Ikorodu-based academy had over the past few years carryied the flag of excellent sporting potentials of the state in all of the tournaments they featured in.
They also expressed their readiness to discuss with any corporate organisations who may want to partner with the academy through promoting their products and services.
“On our part, we have spent quite a lot on preparations for the trip and tournament proper. But we are now being faced with the challenge of ticket purchase for the contingent. It takes quite a lot in terms of financial demands and that’s why we are soliciting for the support of our able and performing governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode. We promise that just as we have been hoisting the flag of the sporting potentials of Lagos State very high everywhere we went in the past, we will do even better this time around. ”
“We also call on well meaning Nigerians and corporate organisations to please show interest by using us to market their products and services. We are open to negotiations and we want to purchase the tickets on time as our departure time fall into next week,” Dr. Salaudeen said.
The 2018 English Super Cup will take place in the iconic city of Manchester, the United Kingdom.
