“We won the game through the hard way. My players worked hard to achieve this success because we were playing against physical team that enjoyed home support yet my players went ahead to shock them before their fans. It was a sweet victory because nobody gave us any chance when we started this tournament but we have proved the bookmakers wrong by winning the league against all odds,” he said.

“We have lost the game not because our opponents players better than us but the keeper who misbehaved on the field of play which informed the centre referee to give him a marching order. Salawudeen would be in suspension indefinitely so that it would serve as deterrent to others in the club. I congratulate our opponents for the hard victory and organizers for the league which brought some players into the limelight,” he said.
The sponsor, Eke thanked God for the success of the tournament saying that the all the participating teams were invited based on their current performance in various competition.
