Group Declares Saraki A Coward, Wants Him Vacate Senate Presidency

Senate President, Bukola Saraki has been described as a coward person who is afraid of jettison his position for dumping the party he rode to power in the National Assembly.

Saraki not only defected from All Progressive Congress (APC) to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), but he has decided to contest for the President of Nigeria on the platform of his new party.

The convener and National Chairman of Nigeria Agents of Change, Hon. Doyin Johnson condemned the action of the senate president from the majority camp to have declared his interest to run his presidential bid in the opposition party.

“It is totally unacceptable in any part of the world for the Senate President from the  majority party at the National Assembly to declare  on the social media of his  decamping to the opposition party. This shows a high degree of cowardness of such a leader, ” he said.

Johnson, who was one of  the foot soldiers of the progressives, who worked tirelessly for the APC 2015 general election victory, said further that” if Saraki is  truly a man,  who is confident of himself, we expected him to have declared his stepping down as the Senate President on the floor of the National Assembly. ”

Doyin said that as a stakeholder in the All Progressive Congress national secretariat structure,  being the National Chairman of Nigeria Agents of Change, one of the 197 registered support groups of the APC, “we should begin to tell Saraki that enough is enough, how can somebody who is the number 3 citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria contest against his principal from another party and still be serving as the Senate President from APC?

” I think it is high time Nigerians desist from wicked political game, because it is a known fact that Senator  Bukola Saraki  has severally used his office right from June 2015 when he was dubiously elected as Senate President to frustrate the current administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari for his greed and selfish agenda.

“We can begin to count many of his sins. Budget padding, refusal to approve some appointments, the funniest part was how 2018 Appropriation Bill was delayed for good seven months before it was finally passed in the month of June 2018 and jacked it up from N7 trillions to N9 trillion singlehandedly by the National Assembly and painfully  the reduction in the budget of capital projects across the country in other to paint Buhari-led administration bad in the eyes of the people.”

He said as the National Vice Chairman,  South West,  Coalition of APC Support Groups (amalgamation of APC Registered Support Groups Nationwide and  South West Youth Leader of National Committee of Buhari Support Groups), the master plan is to issue a seven- day ultimatum to Senator Bukola Saraki to resign his position as the Senate President and concentrate on his destructive agenda of PDP otherwise operation occupy National Assembly shall take place with immediate effect because God has opened Nigerians third eyes.

Doyin Johnson finally said the nationwide mobilisation is being planned to force Saraki to resign as senate president.  “This is not a child play or joke like he dubiously used the NOT TOO YOUNG TO RUN Platform to declared his presidential contest when he was invited as guest speaker. No doubt Saraki  has been acting the script since 2015.”
