A nursing mother, Mrs. Lilian Owoyemi, may have reportedly carried out her threat to her neighbour in Lagos, Mrs. Chibuzor Omotenyshe, as she told Chibuzor that she will never have a child in the compound.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Mrs. Chibuzor got pregnant and Lilian engaged her in a public fight, hit her on the stomach and she eventually lost the baby through forced abortion.

Lilian’s action has landed her in trouble as the matter was reported to the police at Ikotun Division; she was then arrested and charged for forcing the abortion of the pregnancy .
The two women married were said to have been rivals and their neighbours had tried to resolve their differences to no avail. The matter lingered till Lilian became pregnant and after a few months, Chubuzor also became pregnant. After Lilian was delivered of her own baby, she reportedly looked for a way to terminate Chibuzor’s pregnancy. She was said to have attacked and hit Chibuzor on the stomach after biting her severally. She bled profusely and was rushed to the Alimosho General Hospital in Igando area of Lagos where the doctors tried in vain to save the pregnancy.
The doctors succeeded in saving her life by evacuating the foetus and treated her. A report was then prepared and given to the police at Ikotun Division. Thus, Lilian was arrested and charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates court for the alleged offence.
The prosecutor, Supol Kenneth Asibor, informed the court that they were neighbours who were pregnant before Lilian was delivered of her own but fought Chibuzor and she lost hers.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. T.I. Shomade, granted Lilian bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 17th October, 2018.
The incident attracted more reactions from their neighbours who wondered why Lilian will have her own baby and not want her neighbour to have a child like her which they described such as wickedness.
