Asa To Excite Fans At Spice Lifestyle Honours

Multi-award winning singer and songwriter, Asa, is teaming up with Africa’s Premium Lifestyle and Fashion TV channel, Spice TV to raise the bar as it debuts the first of its kind award show tagged Spice Lifestyle Honours.
The event, set to hold on on Wednesday, December 5 at the prestigious Eko Convention Center of Eko Hotels in Victoria Island, Lagos, will see a convergence of hottest celebrities, fashion icons and style connoisseurs in Africa to honor and celebrate the icons and best in the African fashion and style industry.
The event powered by XCHANGE, a consortium of event promoters led by Tajudeen Adepetu, will have Nigeria’s Asa known for her soulful voice and sold out concerts grace the stage to serenade guests with some of her hit songs all night long.
“The event will pay homage to African fashion icons and brands while honouring the best within the fashion and lifestyle space on the continent. Asa, with several albums including Beautiful Imperfection, Bed of Stone and her self-titled debut album will give a powerful performance during the awards ceremony and gala night with the backing of her orchestra,” the organisers said in a statement.
There will also be live performances by talented artistes such as Bez, Adekunle Gold, and Falana.
Guests will also enjoy an exceptional fashion showcase by top designers in Africa such as David Tlale (South Africa), Patience Torlowei (Nigeria), Chulaap (South Africa), Osei Duro (Ghana) and Orapeleng (South Africa) including fresh talents in the fashion industry such as Pepper Row, Orizu, Red Button and Boy Martin.
Some of the award categories for Spice Lifestyle Honors include Male & Female Lead in a Movie, Fashion Business of the Year, Telecom Company of the Year, CSR Brand of the Year, Innovator of the Year, Lifestyle Product of the Year, Outstanding Achiever of the Year Award, Design Company of the Year and more.
The Lifestyle award event will be hosted by Ghanaian actress, Joselyn Dumas.
There will also be five other shows coming thereafter on the XCHANGE stable between December and January 2019.
African music sensation, Wizkid, will headline Wizkid Exclusive VIP Experience and Wizkid Made in Lagos Shutdown on December 19 at Eko Hotel and December 23 at Eko Atlantic City respectively.
In between the Wizkid double shows is the Urban Music Festival, which will mesh Pop, Hip-hop, Afrobeat and others holding on December 21 at Eko Atlantic City.
There will be Afrobeat Festival, featuring Femi Kuti, Seun Kuti, and others will hold the next day at the same venue.
The season will be rounded off with the mega Soundcity MVP Awards at Eko Hotels on January 5.
