A 10-year old boy suffered a serious mental trauma after he was apprehended and forced to engage in anal sex under the bridge in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened under the bridge by Sheraton Hotel in Ikeja area of Lagos.

The suspect, one Victor Martins, has been arrested.
It was gathered that Martins met the 10-year old victim who was going home and apprehended him. He thereafter removed his clothes and forcefully penetrated him through his anus. The victim was said to have raised alarm but the suspect continued until he had satisfied himself in the process.
However, people who noticed what was happening rushed to rescue the 10-year old and forced Martins to remove his manhood from his anus.
He was then handed over to the Ikeja Police Division and was detained at the police station for interrogation.
During interrogation, Martins admitted that he penetrated the boy in order to satisfy his sexual desire as he preferred to have sex with the male folk especially young boys.
He was charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for rape. The prosecutor, Supol E. Ayorinde, informed the court that the victim was a minor and would need the advice of DPP.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi, ordered Martins to be remanded in prison custody without taking his plea. The court directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice.
The matter was adjourned till 21st January, 2019, for the report of DPP to be available. It was gathered that the matter may be transferred to the High Court if the DPP report finds him culpable. And he may be sentenced to spend long number of years in prison despite the fact that the victim was not a woman.
