The Ejigbo Police Division has arrested a 35-year old lady, one Uju Nwadiegwu, for cutting a randy man’s ear with broken bottle during a public fight in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Mkpo Close, Jakande Estate in Ejigbo, Lagos where they reside.

The victim, Victor Madueke, suffered serious injury and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital where he was receiving treatment.
The victim was said to have engaged the lady on an undisclosed matter which resulted to a disagreement between them.
It was gathered that the purported disagreement between Uju and Victor resulted in exchange of hot words and later to fighting publicly in the neighbourhood.
During the fight, Uju was said to have assaulted Victor, broke a bottle and cut off part of his ear which ended the fight and Victor was rushed to a hospital.

The matter was reported to the police at Ejigbo Division; Uju was arrested and charged before Ejigbo Magistrates Court for the assault.
She pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Inspector G. Simon, did not oppose her bail.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. L.K.J. Layeni, granted her bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
However, the defendant was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 30th January, 2019.
When P.M.EXPRESS correspondent contacted the parties in the matter, both refused to speak out giving suspicion that they knew themselves and would not leak what transpired between them which seemed like a relationship that went sour.
