A pastor, known as Pastor Chinedu Nwoha and his wife, Ndidiamaka, of the Holy Ghost School Disciples, have landed in trouble over their proclamation on members to sell all their houses and bring their children to sow as seed to the church.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at the church located at 13, Eckanker Street, Jakande Estate in Ejigbo area of Lagos.

The members were said to have believed their pastor as they went, sold their houses, paid the money into the pastor’s account as seed and became homeless. Some of them brought their children and equally sowed them as seeds; the children had their names changed to the pastor’s surname.
However, when some of the children realised the alleged scam, they revolted against the church. But by then the money realised from the sales of the members’ properties running into millions of Naira were already in Pastor Nwoha’s account.
Some of the victims were Mrs. Uzoamaka Anowai, Blessing Eke and others who were still shocked over what happened and claimed that they were hypnotized to do so.

Some of children taken to the church as seed offerings were Chinedu, Chioma and Onyinye who now belonged to the church.
The proclamation has caused serious crises and the alleged scam was initially handled by the Ejigbo Police Division before it was transferred to the Special Fraud Unit for further investigation.

One of the victims, one Jude Okeke, claimed that Pastor Chinedu hypnotized, ordered him to sell his house, he did and paid the whole money into the pastor’s account.

When P.M.EXPRESS correspondent visited the pastor who is now on bail, the members insisted that he will not speak with our reporter after several hours in front of the premises. One of the female members directed the reporter to the police and the court where she claimed they had filed a suit over the matter.

It was gathered after the alleged scam was exposed, some members of the church who had regained their senses quietly left the church while others who wanted their properties returned claimed that they were forced to sow them as seeds and would want them back.
