Islamic Cleric Caught Having Sex With Wife’s Sister

The Police at Bariga Division led by the DPO, CSP Segun Titilayo, have arrested a 38-year old Islamic cleric, one Abdul Lateef Mustapha, for engaging his wife’s sister, 17, in sex romps in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Bariga area of Lagos where the suspect resides with his family and the victim.

It was gathered the that the Child Protection Agency in Shomolu Unit reported the case of defilement by Mustapha at the police station at about 9am on Sunday after the agency received the report of the alleged dastardly act.
Thus, Mustapha, who hails from Kwara, was rapidly arrested and detained at the police station for interrogation.
During interrogation, the alleged perpetrator, Mustapha, was discovered to have continually defiled the victim whenever the wife was not around.
However, the act was exposed when the embittered victim told two of their neighbours her predicament; how her sister’s husband used to defile her but the two women did not believe her because her sister and the Islamic cleric were present.
The act that broke the camel’s back was said to have happened on 16^th February, 2019, when the Islamic cleric had canal knowledge of the girl and was caught red handed. He then apologized never to do such again.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the suspect initially denied the act but later opened up that he had sex with the girl only once and not thrice as stated by the 17-year old victim.
The victim has been directed to undergo a medical examination at the Mirabel Centre on Monday 18^th February, 2019, to determine the extent of the damage done to her.
The family of the suspect was said to have bombarded the police station adorning Islamic dresses pleading, while some of them were later said to have threatened the girl. The victim has remained in the police station for safety as the relatives of the suspect were said to be angry with the victim for exposing the act.
P.M.EXPRESS scooped that the girl was brought to Lagos in January 2018 from Kano State by her aunt so that she can be well catered for but her aunt’s husband became the predator.
Since she came to Lagos and started living with them, the suspect was said to have defiled her consistently until it was exposed. This was confirmed by the Coordinator of Child Protection Agency, Comrade Toyin Okanlawon (Oklahgogo) Shomolu Unit. He commended the DPO, CSP Titilayo, for professionalism and kindness on the victim.
