Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, I salute you joor, you are the real man. You refused to rig or to write result even in your own domain. You resisted the pressure to arm our youths because it is your believe that no man’s political ambition is worth the blood of any youth or human. Some people saw your refusal to rig or unleash violence in Abia State after this election rigging as a sign of weakness. But they are dead wrong. You are the real man here, because character is the true test of strength.

Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, you have indeed modeled the leadership qualities required in Abia State and Nigeria. You have shown that you have the moral authority to demand for change and to lead a new breed of leaders who understands that change is built on moral philosophy. That change is not about removing PDP and replacing it with an APC that is of the same character, without moral variation.

You have shown class and you are our new hero in Abia State. You are now the leader of a new breed of leaders without greed and those radically opposed to corruption; none compromising and none conforming to everything that is wrong with Abia State.

I hear politicians in Abia talk about your moral uprightness, I have heard them many times say: “Uche is a man of God, Uche is a good man”. That is a rare verdict in politics.

Abians are even more surprised than you can ever believe that you were not declared elected because they voted for you in their good conscience and based on their desire for positive change which you represent. Abia is in a mourning mood because they know that the conspiracy against you was against their future, good governance and morality. They are all aware that this result that is replete with nineteen thousand plus everywhere is simply written, it does not reflect the wishes of the people. Those who conspired to achieve this evil against you and the ordinary masses of Abia have brought a curse upon themselves, be they from the West, North, eayst or South; God reserves a pay day for them because there is reward for every deed. The cries of the suffering masses whose hope were hinged on your victory will hasten their judgment.

And let me add this. As you ruminate over the processes leading to the stolen mandate, bear in mind that you are loved by the Ngwa people, including me your own adopted brother. You have been kind to everyone that comes your way and many of my Ngwa brothers have attested to that. I was in Ngwa during the election and I saw people who voted for you. I know of those who fought to protect your vote and who were beaten up and chased into the bush with sticks and machetes even in their own communities.

Those who are afraid of you because when you become the governor you will do well and you will end up exposing their incompetence with good performance may not have allowed the vote of Nde Ngwa who voted for you to count. But the average Ngwa man loves you despite the campaign of calumny and ethnic bias raised against you by some elites without conscience and morality, who’s only interest is money, the god of their belly and not the development of Ngwa land and Abia State.

I am proud to work with you. You are setting a new standard of morality in Abia politics and we are proud of you. You are our hero and we love.

Congratulations Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, your greater years are ahead, you have ignited your light in Abia State and Nigeria. The coming days, weeks, months and years is yours to shine.
