Presentation Of Certificate Of Return To Sanwo-Olu, Hamzat, Others Shifted

The electoral umpire, INEC, in Lagos State has shifted the date for the presentation of Certificate of Return to the Governor-elect, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Obafemi Hamzat.

According to the Public Relations Officer, Independent National Electoral Commission, Mr. Femi Akinbiyi, the presentation which was earlier fixed for Wednesday March 27, will now hold on Friday March 29, 2019.

“The event will take place at the INEC Lagos Office, 6 Birell Avenue, Sabo Yaba at 11am, while a new date will be announced later for the presentation of Certificate of Return to the 40 elected members of Lagos State House of Assembly” the statement said.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that no reason was provided by the Electoral Commission for the shift in the date.
