Gov Akeredolu Joins World Leaders At The Annual Investment Meeting

The Executive Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, joined other investment driven world leaders at Dubai, United Arab Emirates for the 9th edition of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM).

The Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) is the World’s Leading Platform for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). It is an initiative of the UAE Ministry of Economy, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

The theme is ‘Mapping the Future of FDI: Enriching World Economies through Digital Globalization’.

Governor Akeredolu and his investment team met with several investors to showcase the potentials of the Sunshine State during the meeting and also attract the investors to develop the state.

On the sidelines of the Annual Meeting, the Governor was invited to meet the Under Secretary for Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economy UAE, Hon Abdulla Ahmed Al Saleh, to discuss further opportunities in Ondo State earlier highlighted during the summit.

The Under Secretary assured the Governor of his support on the projects highlighted and promised to assist with seeing them to fruition.
