Sowoolu, JAMZ100.1FM Boss, Hosts Corporate Media, Ad Agencies Executives
Foremost broadcaster and boss of JAMZ100.1FM, a leading urban contemporary radio station based in Ibadan, Oyo State, Mr Femi Sowoolu recently hosted all the leading corporate media and advertising agencies in Nigeria to a media luncheon in Lagos.
The media parley, held at the exquisite Zen Garden on Isaac John Street, Ikeja GRA, Lagos, was put together as one of the daring quests to make the brand, ‘JAMZ100.1FM’ the first choice of media buyers, marketers, advertising agencies and corporate clients in Nigeria.
The event, anchored by JAMZ100.1FM pair, Charity ‘Chacha’ Jerome and Harrison Ezeh, two of the stations leading presenters, afforded the radio station an opportunity to showcase its presenters and its unique programme options.
While speaking at the occasion, Sowoolu, the Station’s MD/CEO, revealed that although the station only came to existence less than two and a half years ago, it has been able to make rapid penetration into the market by being rated among the top 5 stations within the region, ensuring its claim of being the fastest rising radio station in Nigeria.
He therefore urged the agencies to benefit from the enormous and consistently increasing reach and popularity of the station by doing business with them to ensure that all their respective clients’ needs are met, and satisfactorily.
Complimenting this, the station’s Marketing manager, Mr. Ralph Enisan promised a mutual business relationship full of utmost respect to all clients and agencies at large.
Many of the invited guests also had words of commendation for the team at JAMZ100.1FM, with some describing the event as “the best organised media parley they had ever attended.”
The event was spiced up with cameo appearances by two of Nigeria’s fast rising female artistes, Aramide and Temi Ovwasa.
Aramide, while speaking before her performance, thanked Sowoolu for the words of encouragement and assistance he had given her when she first came down to Lagos from Jos town to pursue her musical career, many years ago.
Sowoolu is a top notch full professional broadcaster with a touch of class while discharging his duties.
He has worked at and managed various radio stations across Nigeria before he and his partners established JAMZ100.1FM.
He still runs “Rise and Jam: The Good Morning Show,” every morning, Mondays to Friday, on JAMZ100.1FM.
