MTN Presents Cars To Project Fame Season 9 Winners

Okiemute with her SUV prize
MTN, telecoms giant, has presented the winners of the Season 9 edition of the MTN Project Fame West Africa reality show with enviable car prizes on Wednesday.
The winners, Okiemute Ighorodje, Elizabeth Emoruwa and Kitay Okotete among the last six contestants received their car prizes at MTN Golden Plaza, in Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria.
The six contenders were those that made it to the last stage after series of talent search auditions across West Africa, weeks of grooming them to turn to create a world of unadulterated entertainment with their weekly performances.

At the car presentation, the winner, Okiemute received a brand new SUV, while the first runner up, Elizabeth got a saloon car and the second runner up, Kitay got a mid-size saloon car.
At the final Gala of the 2016 MTN PFWA, other winners went home with N500,000; Dapo, N1 Million; Pere, N2 million respectively.

Reacting to the presentation, Kitay said, “I bless God for this car. I’m really happy I feel like shouting but I need to compose myself…Warri!!!”
Elizabeth said: “Christmas gift just came at the right time. I’m so grateful Ultima Studio. Thanks to MTN and thanks to you my wonderful fans out there that vote for me”.
Okiemute also said, “I want to say thank you to MTN, Ultima production and the maker of the car, I’m so excited about this…I’m really happy I’m here”.
MTN Project Fame West Africa reality show filmed in Lagos and aired in the West African subcontinent.
It is a regional version of Star Academy reality series that was developed and is licensed worldwide by Endemol.
Run by Ultima production, the show used to feature contestants from Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone, but Liberia and Sierra Leone have been dropped since the 2014 Ebola Outbreak. The show is broadcast by networks in these four countries and across the African continent.
