The Ebola Movie, ’93 Days’ Scoops 13 AMVCA 2017 Nominations

Globally acclaimed movie on Ebola scourge in Nigeria, ‘93 Days’ is currently up for a big win at the African Magic Viewers Choice Award, AMVCA 2017.
At the awards nominees list announced recently at an elaborate ceremony held Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, the movie, ’93 Days’ received 13 nominations for this main award ceremony scheduled to hold in March 2017 in Lagos, Nigeria.
The movie scored nominations in the following categories: Best Supporting Actress; Best Supporting Actor; Best Art Director; Best Sound Track; Best Cinematographer; Best Actress in a Drama; Best Movie West Africa and Best Overall Movie.
It also up for honours in the categories of Best Picture Director; Best Lighting Design; Best Sound Editor; Best Make up and Best Picture Editor.
AMVCA is an annual award ceremony organised to recognise outstanding achievements in the film making industry.
Its been an excellent year for ’93 Days’ which showed at international festivals such as the Chicago Film Festival, Toronto Film Festival and even private international government functions such as the screening at the US Department of Health. 
’93 Days’ is a movie centred on the heroic doctors  and organisations who put their lives on the line to save the Nigerian citizens from the deadly Ebola virus disease.
Directed by Steve Gukas, ‘93 Days’ starred Danny Glover, Bimbo Akintola, Somkele Iyamah Idhalama, Bimbo Manuel, Gideon Okeke and a host of other respected movie stars. 
The movie was produced by Steve Gukas , Bolanle Austen-Peters, Dotun Olakunri, and Pemon Rami.
