The residents of Okokomaiko area  of Lagos have reportedly not known peace for few days now following the bloody cult clash between two rival groups.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the clash left two persons dead, many people injured and properties were destroyed in the process.

It was gathered that the clash was between Aiye and Eiye Confraternities over supremacy, which has caused serious panic in the area, as the residents were said to have restricted their movements.
The identity of the two, who were killed yesterday during a clash, was not yet known but the Police have moved in to save the situation between two cult groups, Aiye and Eiye confraternities.

According to a reliable source, the two deceased victims were said to be members of Eiye confraternity. They were reportedly killed during the exchange of gun shots between the rival cult groups on 22nd July, 2019.

An eye witness said that they were on the road when the cult gangs started chasing themselves and shot at each other at PPL area of Okokomaiko in Lagos.
Again on 23rd July, 2019, as the Eiye cult group decided to bury one of the deceased, they trooped out and attacked innocent people on the road.
Another information has it that the two deceased victims were killed by one Shola a.k.a Sholary now at large.

The Lagos State Police Command has deployed its officers to maintain sanity in the area and were said to be determined to arrest those behind the ugly situation in the area.
