Eid-el-Kabir: Dr. Mojeed Balogun Clamours For Love, Peace & Harmony

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government area, Dr. Mojeed Alabi Balogun, has urged the residents of Ikeja, the people of Lagos and Nigeria in general to demonstrate the act peaceful co-existence, show of genuine concern, love and care towards one another in this season of Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

In his words, “It is very important to note that Eid-el-Kabir is symbolic in the lives of every Muslims given the sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim who faithfully adhered to the instructions of the Almighty Allah even in the face severe affliction and trials”.

“We should not be in a hurry to ignore the fact that this particular period is such whereby we are to tolerate ourselves, give to the less privileged and encourage one another to constantly be in the faith of our Religion at all times as expected of us by the Amighty Allah, our creator.”

“At this point, I encourage each and every one of us to observe this moment with utmost orderliness and be with the consciousness of selflessness. We should continue to be law abiding citizens and ensure we continuously aspire to see the growth and development of localities.

I wish each and every one of us Happy Sallah celebrations!
