CYRIACUS IZUEKWE

A married man, Mr. Idris Olumo, went to bed with his wife at night only to wake up early in the morning and caught a suspected robber, who also passed night with them in their apartment and watched them having sex in their bedroom in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Innocent Amadi Street, Mercy Estate, Baruwa area of Ipaja, Lagos, where Idris resides with his wife.
The 25-year old suspect, Uchenna Ebube, claimed that he lives and came all the way from Alaba Market area of Ojo to Ipaja area in order to steal and gained entrance to Idris apartment from their window.
He said he had to wait when he discovered that Idris and his wife were still awake having sex and thought they will sleep off thereafter. But Idris came to the living room after the romp with his wife and eventually caught him at about 4am.
The suspect was then handed over to the Police at Ipaja Division. When he was interrogated, he said he hails from Abia State and lives at Ojo area of Lagos.
He reportedly revealed to the Police that he was in Ipaja area, broke into Idris home, hid in their living room while the couple was in the bedroom and had thought they will sleep off after they had finished making love as husband and wife.
The Police found him culpable and charged him before the Ejigbo Magistrates Court for burglary to wit stealing.
He pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Kenneth Asibor, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the offence.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. T.O Shomade, granted Uchenna Ebube bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail conditions. The matter was adjourned till 13th November, 2019.
