New Year: Chief Mrs. Kemi Nelson Greets Buhari, Tinubu, APC

All Progressives Congress Chieftain, GAC member and Women Leader (APC, South West), Chief Mrs. Kemi Nelson, has lauded President Buhari, Asiwaju Tinubu and members of the governing party, APC, over the achievements of 2019 while expressing optimism about greater strides in 2020.

In her New Year message made available to P.M.EXPRESS, she said, “It is with joy and gladness that I welcome you all into the New Year 2020, which heralds a new decade and I also term it a year of new beginnings”.

“Year 2019 was a great year in the history of our dear country Nigeria; it was the year of another resounding electoral victory for our great party, APC. Another year of peaceful democratic transition and we thank God for that great year and for what He did in our country.”

“Let me seize this golden opportunity to thank our dear President for the giant strides he made in 2019 and also congratulate him once again for his victory at the polls in 2019. I equally thank our hardworking Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, for his cooperation with the President and also for his assiduousness in seeing that the Next Level Agenda was achieved on all fronts in 2019. I pray for them that the wisdom to better the lives of Nigerians and to also effect the necessary changes in our dear country, the good Lord will grant them in Year 2020 and beyond.”

“Let me thank my dearly beloved leader, who also doubles as the National Leader of our great party, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; a democrat and a progressive to the core and per excellence. Leader of leaders, Brodami, thank you for all you have done! Thank you for all you’re doing and thank you for all that you’ll do. Your impact and efforts to see that the Project Nigeria succeeds is well appreciated. I pray that the good Lord will grant you long life and good health to see and witness the Nigeria of your dreams in Jesus name!”

“To all members of the APC, I am personally thanking you for your loyalty; I am thanking you for your efforts in 2019, thank you for standing by us each time we look back, your efforts are well appreciated and your rewards in coming years shall not elude you in Jesus name! There’s no us (leaders) without you and we will always appreciate you.”

“Let me thank the women folks all over Nigeria; from the wife of our dear President, Hajia Aisha Buhari. Thank you Ma for your leadership traits; we have in you a wife, a great supporter and a mother. We appreciate you! Thank you to my dear sister, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, ever radiant, ever gentle and ever supportive and to the wives of all the Ministers, the wives of the Progressive Governors, Progressive Women Leaders across the nation. Women who are political office holders, I personally thank you for your efforts in 2019. You’re all amazons and I pray that God will continually strengthen us even beyond 2019.”

“My message for 2020 will be short and succinct. The Year 2020 is pregnant with a lot of things for us; it is a year of a new decade which we can also say it is a year of New Beginnings. I want everyone to key into this and be very expectant. As a Christian, let me take a cue from the scriptures to buttress the New Beginning that this Year 2020 is bringing our way; in Isaiah 43:18-19, the Bible tells us what to expect.

18. “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

So whatever unpalatable experiences you might have had as a person in 2019, please put them behind you because you’re in a year of New Beginnings.”

“As a nation, we shall experience New Beginning in all ramifications. Those who have sworn to destabilise this nation, the Lord Almighty shall put them to shame. Our cooperation is needed from the zonal level to the ward to the LGA to State and to the Federal in order for us to achieve greatness as a nation. Let us not relent in our little corners to do what is good to all mankind wherever we find ourselves; let us pay our taxes and ensure that we are all law abiding in order for us to have a peaceful and secured nation.”

“To our women folks, our supports are needed this year ever than before. Let us support our men, let us lead exceptionally where we find yourself, let us pray more, let us guide more and we shall all have a prosperous 2020.”

“I wish you all a happy, prosperous and new beginning in 2020. I pray that God Almighty shall keep us, elevate us, cause us to always have reasons to glorify His name at all times” the Women Leader concluded.
